Karen McMullen, Head of Access Services, School of Medicine Library, organized the National Eating Disorders Association (NEDA) Walk that was held on the USC campus on Saturday, February 17, 2018.

This Daily Gamecock article gives a great overview of the walk which was attended by 166 people, including Cocky!

Karen also received the Community Builder award from the Michael Mungo Foundation in 2016 for her work in organizing the first NEDA walk in Columbia and founding the South Carolina Eating Disorders Association.

The School of Medicine Library is proud of Karen’s important work in raising awareness of eating disorders in South Carolina. Thank you, Karen!
