Journal Citation Reports (JCR), the database that helps you compare citation data for thousands of journals, has been updated with 2015 citation data.

The 2016 release, with 2015 citation data for literature within the sciences and social sciences, features 11,365 journal listings in 234 disciplines; 81 countries are represented. A total of 239 journals received their first Journal Impact Factor (JIF); 57 percent of journals saw an increase in JIF from last year and 42 percent saw a decrease. This release of the JCR also includes a new category, Green & Sustainable Science & Technology.

A list of journals receiving their first Impact Factor is available at: http://scientific.thomsonreuters.com/imgblast/JCR-newlist-2016.pdf

JCR is available in the Databases area of Library website.
