Ovid's Personal Accounts enable you to create and maintain a private workspace for your saved search strategies and AutoAlerts. When you save a search as an AutoAlert, Ovid will automatically run your saved search and deliver the latest results to your email.

- This tutorial explains how to create an account and save an AutoAlert.
To set up an AutoAlert:
- Log in to Ovid, click on the "My Account" link at the top.
- Create a username and password.
- After you are signed into your personal account, run a search you want to save. Include any limits you want to add before saving your search.
- After you have completed your search, select the "More" link.
- Using the More drop-down menu, select "Create Auto-Alert" as the type of search to save. To receive email results of your saved search, you need to select AutoAlert as the type.
- Select the options you prefer, including how frequently Ovid will run your search, then click "save."
- You will now start to receive emails with links to new citations that match your search criteria.
