Calling all gamers and puzzle lovers!
The Library has launched its collection of board games and puzzles for use by School of Medicine students, faculty, and staff. Featuring strategy and collaborative games (such as CODENAMES, AZUL, and PANDEMIC), and detailed Anatomy puzzles, the collection promises hours of respite and relaxation for the weary!
Board games and puzzles may be used freely in the library or may be checked out for a one-week loan period. Students are encouraged to play the games and put together puzzles in the Information Commons area of the Library’s first floor (where the collection is shelved). There is a table dedicated to in-process puzzles and/or games.
An online “Tabletop Game and Jigsaw Puzzle Collection Resource Guide” contains detailed descriptions of each game, including the number of players and duration of play. The guide also offers “How to Play” videos for each game as well as other online resources.
Come to the Library and jump into a board game or puzzle if you need a break!
