Steve Wilson, Web Architect and Outreach Librarian, has received a $1,700 Exhibitor Award from the National Network of Libraries of Medicine (NNLM) Southeastern Atlantic Region (SEA). Exhibitor awards provide funding for exhibits at state and/or local meetings of health professionals, information professionals and health consumers. It provides an opportunity to promote NLM products, SEA programs or SEA member libraries to target populations. Funding covers registration and booth fees, travel and per diems, communication costs, and equipment rental if needed and associated costs for the exhibit. Steve will be using the funding to cover the expenses of promoting the Center for Disability Resource (CDR) Library through an exhibit at the South Carolina chapter of the American Association on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (SCAIDD) conference in Myrtle Beach, October 3-5, 2018.
