To support School of Medicine faculty, students, and residents during the COVID-19 pandemic, the School of Medicine Library has activated temporary complimentary access to Thieme’s MedOne Education and Teaching Assistant - Anatomy through July 31, 2020.

Thieme’s MedOne Education covers the medical school curriculum with resources for study, review, and test-prep.  Thieme’s 146 illustrated E-Books and videos feature concise, didactic treatment of complex subjects. All of the images on the MedOne platform are active and can be downloaded and reproduced in course packs and slides, and the Playlist functionality allows faculty to develop custom reading lists to align with the curriculum and even supplement with their own materials. More information for users.

Thieme Teaching Assistant - Anatomy features every full-color image from Gilroy et al.’s Atlas of Anatomy and additional images from Baker et al.’s Head and Neck Anatomy for Dental Medicine– over 2,400 in total.  Lecturers can incorporate dynamic visuals into their presentations and course packs to present complex concepts with unprecedented clarity and to enhance and reinforce their students’ knowledge. Students can use the clear, full-color images for review, study, and self-assessment. Quick Tips for use.

These resources will be discontinued on July 31st, when the complimentary access ends since the Library’s budget does not allow for ongoing access.
