During this module, you will learn how to search for e-books in AccessMedicine and ClinicalKey. You will also learn how to access print and electronic books using the Library Catalog, Find It @ USC Libraries.

The Library provides access to over 1,300 e-books.
Two advantages to e-books over print books are:
AccessMedicine and ClinicalKey are the Library’s best e-book resources because they allow you to search a number of textbooks simultaneously.
AccessMedicine provides access to full text medical textbooks, drug information, and multimedia content. After creating a free My AccessMedicine account, you can create custom tests and use interactive flashcards.

ClinicalKey provides access to over 1,000 medical textbooks, millions of images, over 13,000 medical and surgical videos, over 500 journals, drug information, clinical overviews (point of care summaries), and more.

You can search Find It @ USC Libraries to find print and e-books, print and e-journals, as well as journal articles. The Reserve collection is located on the first floor on the wall opposite of the elevator.

After you find the materials you would like to check out, bring them to a library staff member. Tell them your name or show them your ID card.
You can also use the Self-Checkout form on our web site to check out materials.
