South Carolina Health Disparities Research Portal: Find Other Researchers
The objective of the South Carolina Health Disparities Research Portal is to provide a gateway to health disparities information resources and serve as a catalyst for creating a collaborative culture of discovery, innovation, and improvement at the UofSC.
Developed to foster research collaboration and to showcase the wide array of expertise and talent offered by UofSC faculty. Searchable database allows faculty to share areas of expertise with colleagues and wider world. Search faculty research profiles by using research interest or expertise keywords (e.g. genomics, cognitive development or toxicology). Alternatively, search for a particular faculty member's research profile by entering his or her name. Searches are not case sensitive; entering Robert or RObeRT or rOBERT or robert will yield identical results.
Allows users to explore networking opportunities among HSSC member organizations to enable collaborative research. Enables creation of online bios, which enhances the visibility of faculty on search engines, and supports identification of potential collaborators, researchers, experts, and mentors. Offers visualization tools to browse collaboration networks, view timelines of publication keywords and word clouds, and other tools help facilitate discovery of research networks, team formation, and networking between the research community and industry.
