Exporting citations from Ovid MEDLINE

1. Run your search in Ovid MEDLINE.
2. Select the check box next to the citations that you want to add to EndNote, then click the Export link.  (If you do not select any citations, it will export all of the citations on that particular results page.)
3. On the Export Citations menu, select Reprint/Medlars as the format and Complete Reference for the fields.
4. Click the Export button.
5. A text file (.txt) will be downloaded to your computer. Check that the file is saved somewhere easily accessible such as your desktop. 

Importing the Ovid MEDLINE file into EndNote Online

1. Login to your EndNote Online account.
2. Select Collect and then choose Import References.
3. Choose the file that you just saved from Ovid MEDLINE.
4. For the import option, scroll to "M" and select Medline (OvidSP).
5. Select the group (folder) you want to add the references to and click Import.
